I know I know...I'M PREGNANT! But I still feel like a Walrus. I just hit 9 months and all of a sudden feel uncomfortable and huge!
Cute story to go along with my massiveness....
I came down to Arizona to visit (post to come) and was at my parents house. My darling little 7 yr old nephew Hunter created a Wii character for me. He was creating me with brown hair when my sister told him, "Hunter, Aunt Niki has blonde hair." Hunter- "That's okay mom, everyone is different." (with a smile)
Then I walk in a little while later and Hunter goes to pull up the Wii Character he created for me. As i walk over towards him sitting on the floor, he looks up. And with squinting eyes and confused eyebrows he says, "Aunt Niki, but I thought you were skinnier?"
I said, " I am skinnier Hunter, i just have a baby in my belly.(trying to make myself feel better)
"Hunter- "Oh."
How funny is that!!?? Man i love that kid.
Kids say the darnest things!!! I was teaching sunday school to the 15 yr olds and I haven't been there for a few weeks. When I walked in one of the boys, might I add, said wow your huge now. I told him he was just jealous cuz I outweighed him now (with a smile) he was a skinny kid. LOL I also have a girl in my ward that is due a month before me and she told me she was so big that the dr. was going to induce her.. and guess what I was bigger than her and I still have 2 months to go... This is the good and bad thing about being tall... Is that it takes forever to show when your preggers but once you do you look like a walrus in your words. LOL You're not alone in your sorrows Nicole! I still love you just remember to love your walrus in AZ too.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that kid! Seriously! I can't wait to see your prego pictures.... I might just have to go to Heather's and see them all! I had fun visiting with you... and consider yourself lucky that you are just now feeling fat and huge. I felt huge from like 6 months on (ok, well I was huge!)
