My baby in the News paper again!!!

Check out this link to see another article written about Luke and his football career. A reporter back in his hometown in AZ was interested in writing this article about how he did in high school and on how well he is doing in college. Its pretty sweet!! The reporter called his coaches here and also from high school to get quotes.

I am so proud of Luke and of all his accomplishments. You are my amazing sweet heart!!!!! I love you!

LUKE TAYLOR, a 2002 graduate of Agua Fria High School, drops back to pass during a spring drill at Southern Virginia University. Taylor has been named to the NAIA preseason All-Independent Football Team.Luke Taylor fashioned a distinguished high school, career as an Agua Fria quarterback.
However, unlike many high school stars, the accolades have continued beyond high school Taylor.
At Agua Fria, from 1999 to 2001, Taylor guided the team to a 28-7 record and a state playoff appearance each season. He was an all-region selection all, three years.
"He's a great kid and great leader," said Kelly Epley, current Owls head coach and head man during Taylor's senior season.
"It is kind of tough when you get a new head coach for your senior year," Epley said. "It took an adjustment."
Epley remembers Taylor as a tough, tall, strong-armed quarterback, with leadership ability.
"Luke has a great arm," Epley said. "He throws a great fade route."
"He stood in there and wasn't afraid of get hit," He added. "He's a courageous kid,"
Taylor has taken those attributes in a circuitous route to Buena Vista, Va,, where he is preparing to enter his senior year as the starting signal-caller for the University of Southern Virginia, an NAIA school.
Taylor guided the Knights to a 6-5 record in 2007, passing for a school record 3,292 yards, completing 214 of 351 passes and 31 touchdowns. He threw 15 interceptions. He was sixth in the NAIA in passing yards per game, passing efficiency (160.35) and total offense.
"Luke really helped take our offense to another level last season," Southern Virginia head coach Mike Smith said. "He was a big reason we were able to score so many points and have our first winning season. We're glad to have him back for his senior season."

Here is the link to finish it!! It's pretty long....and just overlook the grammatical errors. =)

Our Week of fun!!

Thursday night for the midnight showing, we and a bunch of our friends went to see
"Batman, The Dark knight." The movie was soooooo good! Health Ledger (RIP) Did such a good job playing Joker. You could barely tell it was him! I definitely recommend this movie!!! But, it is for sure way to scary for little kids.

After the movie some of us went to Denny's. MMmmm it was good! Since we lived about One hour from where we saw the movie we didn't go to bed until 5am!!! We are still recovering our sleep! lol
Okay so Luke and I were introduced to this fantastic game this past week.
It is surprisingly a ton of fun!!! But be prepared to play for 2 to 3 hours!! This is for sure one of our new favorites. But I don't recommend playing with Luke....back stabber!!! haha JK
He is a business major....he is pretty good at it. LOL

Yesterday we and a but load of Football players and wives went jumping off of the James river bridge!!!! (It is about 10 miles from BV. On the way to Lynchburg.)
I am not positive on the height but it was around 30-40 ft? It was crazy watching everyone doing flips and dives off of it.
This was Luke after the Bridge trip.....we were so tired we had to take a nap!!
(He is wearing shorts, i promise!)
This is Jet, Coach Anderson's 5yr old son!!! He was so brave and such a good swimmer. And don't worry his Dad was there to catch him.
Me on the super long bridge.
The FB Ladies!! Amanda, Holly,Me, Amber, Shanda!!

Matt Hadtfield doing a flip!
This is how everyone climbed back up.
Luke chillin and enjoying the show!
The Hadtfields! Ana was so cute in her little swim suit! We went over to their place afterwords and learned how to play Settlers. Thanks guys!!!
We BBQ'd with our little grills....mmmm steak!

Last weekend we had friends over for S'mores and games!
This game was pretty funny! The girls won thank you very much! I am glad I new that there were 6 outs in one inning. Luke did really good too, he new that Cindy Laupert sang, "Girls just wanna have fun." He also got that Audrey Hepburn starred in the original Sabrina. haha

Out side making s'mores and also banana s'mores!

Amanda and Devin Huch
Dereck and Cheryl Maggard
Holly and Ben Burningham
Luke and Niki Taylor
Shanda and Jordan Munns

We missed taking a pic of Matt and Amber before they left the S'moreguss board! lol

Thanks for a fun week everyone!!!!!
